About Flare Vault
Flare Vault is non-custodial software for Flare Mainnet. You connect your own wallet to see, send and receive FLR, FXRP, bridged USDT and NFTs, and you can optionally set up a Legacy Vault so the people you choose can claim your funds if you stop checking in.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Why Flare Vault exists
Digital assets are easy to lose track of. When access to a wallet is lost, or an owner becomes unavailable, family and beneficiaries often have no way to reach what was left behind. Flare Vault makes asset continuity simple on the Flare network: you stay in full control during your lifetime, and you decide who receives your assets, how much each person receives, and how long you can be inactive before they can claim.
What you can do today
- Connect your own wallet. MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, or any wallet that supports WalletConnect. There is no account, email or password.
- See your balances. FLR, FXRP and bridged USDT on Flare Mainnet, plus your transaction history.
- Send and receive. Move FLR and supported tokens to any address. Flare Vault charges no fee for sending; you pay only the network gas.
- View, receive and send NFTs. ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs on Flare appear under My NFTs.
- Use Legacy Vault. Name your beneficiaries and their shares, deposit FLR, FXRP or USDT into the Legacy Vault smart contract, and check in on a schedule you choose. If a check-in is missed, each beneficiary can claim their share from the contract.
What is coming next
Token swaps through SparkDEX V3 pools are live. FXRP staking through the Firelight stXRP vault is being prepared and is marked “launching soon”. Borrowing against FXRP is planned. A 555 NFT collection is in development, and its waitlist is open. We label a feature as available only once it is live on mainnet.
Principles
- Self-custody. Flare Vault never holds your keys. It cannot move your funds without you approving the transaction in your own wallet, and it never asks for a recovery phrase or private key.
- Privacy first. The app sees your public wallet address and balances, which anyone can already read on the blockchain explorer. Nothing else is required to use it.
- Transparency. Every contract Flare Vault uses is public and can be opened on the Flare explorer. Fees are shown before you confirm.
- Simplicity. Four steps for Legacy Vault: connect, set the plan, deposit, check in.
Be clear about the trade-offs
Funds you keep in your own wallet stay in your wallet. Funds you choose to deposit into Legacy Vault are held by the Legacy Vault smart contract until you withdraw them or your beneficiaries claim them. That is what lets beneficiaries claim without you, and it means you rely on that contract’s code. No third-party security audit has been published yet. The Legacy Vault source code is verified and public on the Flare explorer, so anyone can read exactly what it does before depositing. The full technical detail is in the documentation.

Flare Vault Documentation
How Flare Vault works, where your funds go, what it can and cannot do, and where to check everything yourself.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
1. Overview
Flare Vault is a non-custodial web app for Flare Mainnet (chain ID 14). You connect your own wallet to view balances and NFTs, send and receive FLR, FXRP and bridged USDT, and optionally use Legacy Vault, a smart contract that lets named beneficiaries claim funds you deposited if you stop checking in. There is no Flare Vault account. Your wallet is your login, and there is no sign-up.
2. Getting started
- Open the website and tap Connect Wallet.
- Choose your wallet from the list. It opens, you approve the connection, and you return to the site.
- If your wallet is on another network, Flare Vault asks it to switch to Flare Mainnet. Approve the switch in your wallet.
- Your balances, NFTs and history appear. Nothing is moved until you start a transaction and approve it.
3. Wallets and network
Supported wallets: MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet and Rainbow, in your browser or on your phone, plus any other wallet that supports WalletConnect. The only network is Flare Mainnet, chain ID 14, whose native token is FLR. Supported assets: FLR, FXRP (XRP on Flare), bridged USDT, and ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs on Flare. You need a small amount of FLR to pay network gas for any transaction.
4. Self-custody
- Flare Vault never has your keys. It cannot move your funds without you approving the exact transaction in your own wallet.
- It does not create or import wallets, and it never asks for a recovery phrase or private key. If a page claiming to be Flare Vault asks for one, close it.
- When a transaction needs token permission, for example depositing into Legacy Vault, the app requests approval for the exact amount you are using, not an unlimited amount.
- Read every prompt in your wallet. Reject anything you did not start.
5. Where your funds go
| Action | What happens to your assets |
| Connect wallet | Nothing moves. The site reads public data about your address. |
| Send FLR, tokens or NFTs | They go directly from your wallet to the address you enter. Flare Vault does not touch them in between. |
| Receive | Assets sent to your address arrive in your own wallet. Only Flare-network assets should be sent to it. |
| Legacy Vault deposit | The FLR, FXRP or USDT you deposit moves into the Legacy Vault smart contract. You can withdraw any amount while the vault is active. |
| Swap | Executed through SparkDEX V3 liquidity pools in a single transaction. The result, minus the fee, is sent to your wallet. |
| Stake FXRP (launching soon) | Deposited through the Firelight stXRP vault. Network gas applies. |
6. Legacy Vault (inheritance)
Legacy Vault V2 is a public smart contract on Flare. Everything happens between your wallet and that contract, with no accounts and no middlemen.
- Connect your wallet.
- Set the plan. Add beneficiary addresses and give each a share. Shares must add up to 100%. Choose how often you will check in, in days.
- Deposit. Move FLR, FXRP or USDT into the contract. Deposits are separate from your main wallet balance.
- Check in. A check-in transaction resets the timer. If the deadline passes without a check-in, each beneficiary can claim their share from the contract.
While the vault is active you can check in, update your beneficiaries, deposit more and withdraw. A beneficiary claims by entering the vault owner’s address on the Claim tab and confirming the transaction from their own wallet. Deposits, check-ins and claims cost network gas only. There is no Flare Vault fee.
The trade-off. Funds you deposit are held by the Legacy Vault smart contract, not by your wallet. That is what lets beneficiaries claim without you, and it means you rely on that contract’s code. Choose a check-in interval you can reliably keep. If you lose your wallet, Flare Vault cannot recover it, but funds placed in Legacy Vault can still be claimed by your beneficiaries after the interval ends.
7. NFTs
My NFTs lists the ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs in your wallet, loaded from the Flare explorer. NFTs can be received at your normal address. If one does not appear, you can add it by contract address and token ID, and the app confirms on the blockchain that you own it. Before any NFT is sent, ownership is checked again on-chain, and transfers to your own address or to the NFT’s own contract are blocked. NFT names and pictures are created by third parties, so treat unknown NFTs with care and never open links or connect to sites advertised inside them. Only NFTs on Flare are supported. Sending an NFT costs network gas only.
8. Fees
| Feature | Cost |
| Send FLR, tokens and NFTs | Network gas only. No Flare Vault fee. |
| Legacy Vault | Network gas only. No Flare Vault fee. |
| Stake FXRP (launching soon) | Network gas. No Flare Vault fee. |
| Swap | The pool’s own fee tier, plus network gas, plus a 0.25% Flare Vault fee taken from what you receive, inside the same transaction. The full breakdown is shown before you confirm. |
The Flare Vault swap fee is paid to this public address: 0x008dfa020B48417cFA5c4ED95A2c572A11eD04D7.
9. Privacy architecture
Public: your wallet address, balances, NFTs and transactions are on the blockchain and visible to anyone. Read by the app: your public address and the on-chain data above, processed in your browser. Stored on your device only: theme, last wallet type, a waitlist marker and NFTs you added by hand. Stored by us: only what you type into the optional waitlist form. Apart from that form, Flare Vault has no server-side database of users. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
10. Security
Implemented protections: no key handling; exact-amount approvals; transaction details shown in your wallet before you sign; on-chain ownership checks before sending NFTs; text and images from outside sources are displayed safely; HTTPS with a content security policy and other security headers; public, verified contract source.
Known limitations: no third-party security audit of the Legacy Vault contract has been published yet, so please read the verified source and deposit only what you are comfortable placing in a smart contract. The app depends on outside infrastructure, including the wallet-connection service, Flare RPC providers and the explorer. Always check the address bar before connecting your wallet.
Reporting vulnerabilities: email report@flarevaultapp.xyz with the subject Security report. See the contact page.

13. For developers and AI agents
Flare Vault has no account system, API keys or transaction API, so there is nothing to sign up for. Everything below is public and read-only.
- Markdown. Request any page with the header
Accept: text/markdown, or add .md to the page name, for example /about.md. Responses carry Vary: Accept.
- Machine-readable files. /llms.txt, /sitemap.xml, /robots.txt, /.well-known/security.txt, and an OpenAPI description of these content endpoints at /openapi.json.
- Errors. Unknown paths return HTTP 404. Send
Accept: text/markdown for Markdown guidance, or Accept: application/json (or use any path under /api/) for JSON with error.code, error.status, error.message and error.hint.
- On-chain. The product’s real interface is the Legacy Vault V2 contract on Flare Mainnet (chain ID 14). Anyone can read it through a Flare RPC with
getVaultInfo(owner), getBalance(owner, token) and isExpired(owner). Writing needs a wallet signature: setupVault(beneficiaries, splitBps, checkInInterval), checkIn(), depositNative(), depositToken(token, amount), withdrawNative(amount), withdrawToken(token, amount) and claim(owner, token). Native FLR is represented by the zero address. Shares are in basis points and total 10,000.
The contract source is verified on the Flare explorer, linked in the contracts section above.

Flare Vault Privacy Policy
Flare Vault is built so that you can use it without giving us personal information. This policy explains what the website and app process, what stays on your device, which outside services are involved, and how to contact us about your data.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
Flare Vault is operated by FLAREVAULT DIGITAL SPHERE LTD (registration number RC 9921156).
In short
- There are no accounts, emails or passwords. Your wallet is how you use the app.
- We never ask for, receive or store your recovery phrase or private keys.
- The only personal details we collect are the ones you choose to type into the optional waitlist form.
- We do not sell personal information.
Wallet connections and blockchain data
When you connect a wallet, the app learns your public wallet address and reads public data about it from the Flare blockchain, such as your balances, token holdings, NFTs and transaction history. This is the same information anyone can see on a blockchain explorer. It is processed in your browser to display your screens. Flare Vault does not keep a database of wallet addresses that connect. Transactions you approve are broadcast to the public blockchain, where they are visible to everyone and cannot be deleted.
Information you give us
Waitlist form
If you join the 555 NFT collection waitlist, the form sends the wallet address, X username and Telegram username you enter, together with the time of your submission, to a spreadsheet controlled by the Flare Vault team (hosted with Google Apps Script and Google Sheets). We use these details only to contact you about the collection and to manage the waitlist. We keep them only as long as needed for that purpose, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Emails to us
If you email support@flarevaultapp.xyz, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and keep it for as long as needed to handle your request.
Information stored on your device
To work smoothly, the site saves a few small items in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us: your light or dark theme choice, the type of wallet you last used so a refresh can reconnect, a marker that this device already joined the waitlist, NFTs you added manually (contract address and token ID), and short-lived connection flags while you connect. You can remove them at any time by clearing the site data in your browser. Flare Vault does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
Outside services
Using the site involves services run by other companies. They may receive technical data such as your IP address and browser details, according to their own policies.
| Service | Why it is used |
| Vercel | Hosts the website and provides privacy-friendly page-view analytics (visits and pages, without advertising profiles). |
| Reown / WalletConnect | The wallet-connection popup and relay that links the site to your wallet app, and the list of supported wallets. |
| Flare RPC providers and the Flare explorer | Reading balances, history and NFTs from the Flare blockchain, and sending the transactions you approve. |
| Code delivery networks (esm.sh, jsDelivr, unpkg, cdnjs) | Serve some open-source code libraries the app uses, such as the wallet popup. |
| Google | Fonts for the main page, and Apps Script / Sheets for the waitlist form. |
| NFT image hosts and IPFS gateways | When you open My NFTs, each NFT’s picture loads from the address its creator chose, so that host can see your IP address. |
| SparkDEX and Firelight | Used only when you swap (SparkDEX) or stake (Firelight). |
How long we keep information
Wallet and blockchain data is read live and is not stored by us. Waitlist entries are kept only as long as the waitlist and collection launch require, or until you ask us to remove them. Emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request. Data on public blockchains is permanent and outside our control.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what waitlist or email information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. Email support@flarevaultapp.xyz with the subject Privacy request and the details you gave us, such as the wallet address you used on the waitlist form. We may need to confirm the request comes from you.
Security
We limit what we collect, serve the site over HTTPS with security headers, keep the Legacy Vault source code public, and never handle your keys. No online service can promise absolute security, so please also protect your own wallet, recovery phrase and devices.
Children
Flare Vault is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Flare Vault White Paper
A non-custodial approach to digital asset continuity on Flare.
Version 1.0 · 9 October 2026
Abstract
Flare Vault is non-custodial software for Flare Mainnet (chain ID 14). It combines a wallet-connected interface for everyday asset management with Legacy Vault, a public smart contract that lets an owner name beneficiaries and a check-in interval, so assets can pass on without relying on a custodian, a lawyer’s copy of a key, or a company that must stay in business. This paper describes the problem, the design, the mechanisms, the security model, the fee model and the current status. Where a feature is not live, it is labelled as such.
1. The problem
Self-custody makes the owner the single point of failure. If keys are lost, or the owner becomes unavailable, the assets can become permanently unreachable, and the people who should inherit them often do not know that they exist or how to reach them. The common workarounds each have a weakness: sharing a recovery phrase hands over full control immediately; using a custodian reintroduces the counterparty risk that self-custody was meant to remove; and a written will is slow, discloses holdings, and cannot move on-chain assets by itself.
2. Design goals
- Self-custody first. The owner keeps control of assets in their own wallet. Nothing is deposited unless the owner chooses to.
- Minimal disclosure. No accounts, no personal data required, and no keys ever shared with the application.
- Transparency. Contract source is public and verifiable. Fees are shown before any transaction is signed.
- Simplicity. Four steps for inheritance planning: connect, set the plan, deposit, check in.
- Honest status. Features are described as live only when they run on mainnet.
3. System overview
Flare Vault has three layers. The interface is a website that runs in the user’s browser and has no application server of its own: it reads public data from the Flare blockchain through public RPC endpoints and the Flare explorer. The wallet, which belongs to the user, holds the keys and signs every transaction. The contracts on Flare Mainnet hold the rules and, for Legacy Vault, the deposited assets.
| Component | Role | Operated by |
| Website | Interface for balances, sending, NFTs and Legacy Vault | Flare Vault |
| User wallet | Holds keys, shows and signs every transaction | The user |
| Legacy Vault V2 | Stores plans and deposits, enforces check-in and claims | Flare Vault (public, verified source) |
| FXRP and bridged USDT | Supported tokens | Their issuers |
| SparkDEX V3, Firelight stXRP | Swapping (live) and staking (launching soon) | Third parties |
4. Self-custody model
Flare Vault never creates, imports or stores wallets, and never asks for a recovery phrase or private key. Connecting a wallet only lets the site read public information. Every action that moves assets is a transaction that the user reviews and signs in their own wallet. Where a token permission is needed, such as depositing a token into Legacy Vault, the application requests an approval for the exact amount being used, not an unlimited amount.
5. Legacy Vault: the inheritance mechanism
Legacy Vault V2 is a smart contract that serves many owners. For each owner it stores a plan and tracks deposits per asset.
- Set the plan. The owner lists beneficiary addresses and a share for each, in basis points (100 basis points is 1%). Shares must total 10,000 (100%). The owner also chooses a check-in interval.
- Deposit. The owner deposits FLR, FXRP or USDT into the contract. Balances are tracked separately for each owner and asset.
- Check in. A check-in records the current time. The vault counts as expired once the interval has passed since the last check-in.
- Withdraw or update. While the vault is active, the owner can withdraw assets, deposit more, check in again and change the plan.
- Claim. After expiry, a listed beneficiary calls claim for the owner and a specific asset. The contract pays out according to the stored shares, and the exact amount settles on-chain.
The mechanism is purely time-based. It uses no oracle, no death certificate and no third party who must act, which keeps it simple and censorship-resistant. The consequence is that an owner who is unable to check in for any reason, such as illness or travel, allows the vault to expire, so the interval should be chosen with that in mind.
What is public. Legacy Vault plans live on a public blockchain. Anyone who looks up an owner’s address on the explorer can read the beneficiary addresses, shares, check-in interval and last check-in time, as well as the vault’s balances. The plan does not reveal who the beneficiaries are as people, but the addresses are visible.
6. Assets and NFTs
Supported assets are FLR, FXRP (XRP on Flare) and bridged USDT on Flare Mainnet. The My NFTs screen lists ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFTs held by the connected wallet and sends them. Before an NFT is sent, ownership is verified directly on-chain, and transfers to the sender’s own address or to the NFT’s own contract are blocked. NFT names and images are supplied by third parties, so they are shown as plain text and safe image links only, and links inside NFT metadata are never made clickable. NFTs are not stored in Legacy Vault.
7. Swapping and staking
Swaps run through SparkDEX V3 liquidity pools and are live. FXRP staking through the Firelight stXRP vault is launching soon. In both cases Flare Vault does not take custody: the transaction is built in the interface and signed by the user. The Flare Vault swap fee is taken from the amount you receive, inside the same transaction as the swap, so it applies only when the swap succeeds and is never a second prompt.
8. Security model
| Threat | How Flare Vault addresses it |
| Copycat or phishing sites | One official address, published here and on X; wallet prompts show what is being signed; security headers are enabled; users are told never to share a recovery phrase. |
| Key theft | The application never handles keys or recovery phrases. |
| Excessive token permissions | Approvals are for the exact amount used. |
| Hostile NFT metadata | Names are shown as plain text, images are limited to safe link types, and metadata links are not clickable. |
| Contract bugs | Source code for Legacy Vault V2 is verified and public. No third-party audit has been published yet. |
| Compromised third-party code or RPC | Libraries are version-pinned and the content security policy limits where scripts may load from. Hosting more code on the Flare Vault domain is a stated goal. |
| Owner unable to check in | The interval is chosen by the owner and a check-in can be made at any time before expiry. |
9. Privacy
No account or personal data is needed. The application reads public blockchain data about the connected address. The only personal details Flare Vault stores are those a visitor types into the optional waitlist form. The Privacy Policy lists the outside services involved and what stays on the device.
10. Fees and treasury
| Action | Cost |
| Send FLR, tokens and NFTs | Network gas only |
| Legacy Vault: deposit, check in, withdraw, claim | Network gas only |
| Stake FXRP (launching soon) | Network gas only |
| Swap | Pool fee, network gas and a 0.25% Flare Vault fee taken from what you receive, inside the same transaction |
The Flare Vault swap fee is paid to the public treasury address 0x008dfa020B48417cFA5c4ED95A2c572A11eD04D7.
11. Status and roadmap
| Item | Status |
| Wallet connection, balances, history | Live |
| Send and receive FLR, FXRP, bridged USDT | Live |
| My NFTs: view, receive, send | Live |
| Legacy Vault V2 | Live on Flare Mainnet |

12. Limitations and disclosures
- Legacy Vault V2 has not been through a published third-party security audit. Its verified source code can be read by anyone.
- Funds placed in any smart contract depend on that contract’s code, so only deposit amounts you are comfortable placing in it.
- The application relies on outside infrastructure such as the wallet-connection service, Flare RPC providers and the explorer.
- Features marked launching soon or coming soon are not yet available, and timing may change.
- This paper describes the product as of its date and may be updated. It is a description of software and not an offer or a promise of returns.

Terms of Service
These terms explain what Flare Vault is, what you are responsible for when you use it, and what you can expect from us.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Flare Vault is operated by FLAREVAULT DIGITAL SPHERE LTD (registration number RC 9921156), referred to as “Flare Vault”, “we” or “us”. These terms apply to the website at https://www.flarevaultapp.xyz and the web app on it (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You must not use the Service if doing so is prohibited by the laws that apply to you, or if you are subject to sanctions that forbid it. You are responsible for following the laws of the place where you live, including any tax rules.
3. What the Service is
Flare Vault is non-custodial software for Flare Mainnet. It lets you connect your own wallet to view balances and NFTs, send and receive assets, and use Legacy Vault, a smart contract for inheritance planning. We do not hold your keys, operate your wallet or take custody of the assets in it. Features marked “launching soon” or “coming soon” are not available yet and may change. We may add, change or remove features. Some features use third-party protocols, such as SparkDEX and Firelight, which we do not operate.
4. Your wallet and your responsibilities
- You control your wallet, keys and recovery phrase. We cannot access, recover, freeze or reverse them, and we will never ask for them.
- You are responsible for checking every address, amount and detail before you approve a transaction in your wallet.
- Blockchain transactions are final. Once confirmed, they cannot be cancelled or reversed by us or by anyone else.
- You pay the network fees (gas) for every transaction.
- Use only the official address https://www.flarevaultapp.xyz. Check the address bar before connecting a wallet.
5. Legacy Vault
Legacy Vault V2 is a public smart contract. You choose the beneficiary addresses, the share for each, and how often you will check in. Funds you deposit are held by the contract until you withdraw them or your beneficiaries claim them. If the check-in interval passes without a check-in, the contract allows each listed beneficiary to claim their share. You are responsible for choosing correct beneficiary addresses and an interval you can keep, for checking in on time, and for telling your beneficiaries how to claim.
Legacy Vault works by time and does not verify identity, death, incapacity or legal rights to an estate. It is not a will, trust or other legal instrument and does not replace professional advice on estate planning. We do not decide who is entitled to funds and cannot change or reverse a claim once it is made on-chain.
6. Fees
Sending, NFT transfers and Legacy Vault actions cost network gas only. A Flare Vault fee of 0.25% of the amount you receive applies to swaps, in addition to the pool fee and network gas. Fees are shown before you confirm. Third-party protocols and wallets may charge their own fees.
7. Third-party services and content
The Service relies on outside services such as wallets, wallet-connection providers, RPC providers and the Flare explorer. NFTs, token names and images are created by third parties. We do not control, review or endorse them, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or safety. Do not open links or connect your wallet to sites advertised inside an NFT.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for anything unlawful, including fraud, money laundering or evading sanctions; to attack, overload or interfere with the Service or its contracts; to scrape it in a way that harms its operation; to pretend to be us; or to exploit a vulnerability instead of reporting it. If you find a security issue, please report it to report@flarevaultapp.xyz.
9. No advice
Information on the Service is for general information only. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing on it is an offer or a promise of returns. You are responsible for your own decisions and should seek independent advice where appropriate.
10. Technical risks
Blockchain software and smart contracts involve technical risks, including errors in code, network congestion or outages, changes in the value of assets, mistakes in transactions and loss of access to a wallet. Legacy Vault V2 has not completed a published third-party security audit, although its source code is verified and public. You use the Service at your own risk and should only use amounts you are comfortable committing.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of security vulnerabilities, or that any feature will meet your needs.
12. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Flare Vault and its directors, officers and team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or digital assets, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Flare Vault, not including network fees, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Your responsibility to us
You agree to compensate us for losses we suffer because you broke these terms or the law when using the Service, to the extent the law allows.
14. Intellectual property
The Flare Vault name, logo and website content belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use them without our written permission. Where we publish source code, it is covered by the licence shown with that code.
15. Changes and ending access
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Using the Service after a change means you accept it. We may restrict or end access to the website at any time, for example for legal or security reasons. Because the smart contracts are public, restricting access to this website does not change how those contracts work.
16. Governing law and disputes
